A Day of Rejoice!

Finally Austrian Economists, lovers of freedom, libertarians, and tax-victims have something to celebrate. The political and economic elite of this country were dealt a rare loss at the hands of the American people. Bush, Pelosi, McFascist, Barack Goldman Sachs Obama (to use the name given to him by a blogger on lewrockwell.com,) Minister Paulson, and the village fool, Bernanke, all got punked by Americans everywhere. We can thank the people Washington allies of the people in this matter, mostly Ron Paul, but also others such as Senator Jim Bunning of Kentucky stand out. I'm impressed that so many people stood up to the scam that they are calling a bailout.

What surprises me most is that my own representative Ciro "hugo chavez" Rodriguez actually voted against the bailout. I don't think that we have agreed on an issue ever, until today. So good work Ciro, savor this, for it is entirely unlikely that we'll ever be on the same side of an issue again.

I also don't understand why the democrats would support this bailout. The poor people, who they claim to represent (it's a lie...but whatever,) were very outspoken in their opposition to the bailout. I hope every citizen remembers how his or her representative voted in 5 weeks when the elections come.

It's humorous how the mainstream media are on their heels. They aren't used to losing when they support a certain statist measure. Their attacks are looking quite pathetic and desperate at this point. They just keep up the lie that the economy is going to collapse unless we do something. It's just like Saddam's WMDs, the Spanish sinking our navy ship, and more currently Iran's nuclear program. IT'S NOT TRUE. A market correction is occuring, and it needs to, but there is no crisis, except for the idiot bankers and therefore the beneficiaries of the idiot bankers' donations. If the government does nothing, we'll experience a recession of a year or so and then we'll be better off.

Well I might write a more thorough explaination later, but for now this calls for a celebration (on Ludwig von Mises' birthday of all days!!,) and of course a little homework.

For the first time I feel like I can objectively read and understand what you are saying. I would like to think this has to do with some gained wisdom and maturity (though part of me refuses to grow up!).
Never thought to look at the "economic crisis" as a lie and would love to hear more of why you think that. Sounds plausible in my mind so I would like to have more facts, which I am certain you have!=)
